Health workers to knock on doors to create awareness about Japanese Encephalitis

To bring down the deaths caused by communicable diseases, a large-scale campaign will be launched from February 10-28 in all the 75 districts of the state.


Along with this, in the seven encephalitis affected districts (Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddahrth Nagar, Basti, Maharajganj, Kushinagar Deoria and Gorakhpur) of Basti and Gorakhpur division, the Dastak campaign will also be launched wherein health workers will make door-to-door visits and create awareness about Japanese Encephalitis.


Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had given orders for this during the meeting with Health Department on January 25.
